Lime & Stone Cafe

Had a meeting in Molong today. My first time in this area. Popped in at this very cute café with adjoining clothing/homeware store. Wow - really impressed with the set up. A stylish venue with a delicious menu. I thought carrot cake was my fav'rite, but this Pumpkin Cake is the dreamiest thing I've tasted while in NSW. The Dark Choc/Hazelnut Brownie and Vanilla latté's were really good too. I would have bought a shirt & dress, but my size was sold out The staff are very helpful and friendly. I can't wait to visit again once the renovations to the outside area are completed. When in Molong, please visit Lime & Stone Thank me later

This was a pleasant surprise find on our way to Dubbo. Great coffee and yummy food in a beautiful old building. We only had a light snack so cant really comment on the menu, but what we had was great and seeing some.of the lunch menu others were eating made me wish I got that. I wasn't expecting to find this in Molong. Highly recommended!

Can’t recommend this place enough. Had the cheeseburger and it was perfect. Crispy bacon instead of half cooked plus two patties. Chips are delicious. Tea is from loose tea leaves not a teabag. It’s the details that make all the difference. BLAT also looks delicious.

The food, waffles especially, were amazing and incredibly delicious. The music and vibe were chill, and our waiter was super nice. Recommend!!!

This cafe seems to have won the hearts of the locals. It was busy however the kitchen seems efficient and can pump out the food. It helps that a lot of their offerings are prepared. That does not mean the food is inferior. It seems their superpower is to do the basic food really well. There was a specials board - I did not try anything there this time. I was on my way through Molong on a long drive. I opted for something quick. The Reuben Toastie was excellent. Good quality tasty sourdough, generous service of corned beef plus sauerkraut. Most commercially supplied sauerkraut is a bit low on fermented quality however this one was tasty. I could not give the cafe five stars as my macchiato was a bit ordinary. This is a test of any barista. More like a mini cappuccino than a macchiato, hence a little bland. There were lots of takeaway orders for coffee so their coffee appears popular. The fit out of the cafe is modern and airy with sufficient room for many tables. The outside area at the rear well landscaped and great for families. The service is friendly and responsive. One side note, the toilet is excellent and very clean. This is a good cafe notwithstanding my comments. I am due to go back through Molong soon so I will try something else. It is interesting to see successful cafes like this in small towns. They are important for the economy and morale of the community.

Great cafe. Delicious food, very reasonably priced, quick friendly service. There’s a nice courtyard out the back, with plenty of room for kids to run around. Toilets are very clean.

My husband and I stopped in to Lime and Stone cafe on our road trip from Brisbane to Canberra. The food and service were exceptional. Good old country vibes. The staff were friendly ,happy and the service was great . Would recommend our family and friends to visit
